Using kdenlive from the Arch repo's I rendered a video project using
http://gyazo.com/6ba27e284722cb8d6d48eb6c230c5d66 and when I upload that to youtube it thinks the audio and video are out of sync, here's the help link it tells me to read. https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/58134?rd=1 not sure what changed in kdenlive but i know for a fact that my audio and video tracks both end at teh same location. I am using 1080p@30 source footage if that matters. My project setting is of course 1080p@30

Hi ubu,
uploading a testfile for my latest project, I have received the same message. When checking the video in youtube audio and video were perfectly in sync, even in the effect cuts that deserve perfect syncronization. After uploading the same video with h.264 and a constant bitrate, the message disappeared and of course audio and video still in sync. Maybe there is some confusion at youtube when reprocessing h.264 with variable bitrate profiles. Did you check if your audio and video is in sync? |

watching the video on mobile the audio/video is horribly out of sync. it's my lastest upload on my youtube channel at http://www.youtube.com/ubuntuaddicted if you wouldn't mind checking for audio/video sync as i'm at work and can't check it. i created this post right before i left for work. Not sure if it's related to 1080p vs 720p or if it's when using the variable bitrate value of 18 vs using cbr. Any input would be appreciated. COme to think of it, my Vero video was also encoded using kdenlive and an 18 value for the video quality. I'd have to check that as well. Darn it

If you mean the FOSS video, uploaded 7 hours ago, lip sync is perfect in youtube.

thanks for checking! must just be youtube's algorithm of something weird like that. it "thinks" the audio/video duration is different but it's not
