I tried https://kdenlive.org/user-manual/troubleshooting-and-common-problems/i-cannot-render-specific-format-xvid-mpeg-4-flash-it, and it didn't work. I also tried http://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/CompilationGuide/Ubuntu, and it also didn't work. I'm using ubuntu 14.10, and version 0.9.10 of kdenlive. Could you help me? Thanks! :D

Hello,

You do have AVI export profiles by default, in the "Media players" Destination category, and Ogg in the "Web sites" category (WebM or Theora).

The up-to-date manual is actually on kde wiki, and the section about rendering profiles here:
https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manua ... Parameters
You don't need to rebuild ffmpeg if the codecs are shows as available in the config wizard, it's just a question on defining profiles using them.

Hello,

Are the formats grayed out or completely missing?

After a recent update, I was confused by the different categories. You have to use the drop-down menu to pick other format types.

If that doesn't help, can you post screenshots (good host: imgur) of the dialogs shown on https://kdenlive.org/user-manual/troubl ... 4-flash-it ?
