Hi

I just ditched Windows7 yesterday and know I will love Kdenlive..

My main purpose is to render screen capture videos and make tutorials.

I have tried everything but am unable to get out the same resolution of my inputed screen capture resolution which is 1440*900 when I render my projects.

I am also trying to get the best quality render as well.

Thank you..

Welcome to Linux. :)
You might have to create your own render profile to do your job. Have a look at
https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manua ... Parameters
and

Thank You TTGuy

Seems odd that this is not close to default capability. When you use a animated screen capture tool like RecordMyDeskTop the saved file has the same dimensions as your screen. All I want to do is use KdenLive to combine these screen captures into a larger tutorial, but keeping the same dimensions as the Monitor.

Thank you for your links....

Yeah. I guess the problem might be different screen resolutions on different systems.
