Video is delayed compared to sound when rendering

Hi.

When I render, the video is somewhat delayed compared to the sound but this is not the case when I work with the project in Project Monitor in Kdenlive. It is not delayed by a lot, I missed it at first.

My project consists of a video stream and a sound stream which is the result of converting an old VHS tape into digital format (it wasn't me who did this so I don't know how it was done but the result was two separate streams). Here is the data for the different streams:

Video
*.m2v: MPEG sequence, v2, MP@ML interlaced Y'CbCr 4:2:0 video, CCIR/ITU PAL 625, 4:3, 25 fps

Audio
*.wav: RIFF (little-endian) data, WAVE audio, Microsoft PCM, 16 bit, stereo 48000 Hz

I've tried two different profiles in Kdenlive; MP4/H.264/AAC High Profile and MP4/MPEG-4/MP3 Advanced Simple Profile, they both behave the same with delayed video.

Under Configure Kdenlive/Playback Automatic is chosen for Audio Driver.

I'm running Kdenlive 0.9.10, KDE 4.14.6, openSUSE 13.2, melt 0.9.6-57.1, ffmpeg 2.6.2-1.1.

I've seen a few other posts here relating to video and audio being out of sync but none of them really gave an explanation for what I'm experiencing.

Regards, Micke.
