Can't render with audio, but can render without audio

Regardless of which profile I choose, I get the following in the error log that causes my render to crash:

QGtkStyle was unable to detect the current GTK+ theme.

At first I thought this was something wrong with the .mp3 tracks I added, but I tried removing them and still get the error with just my GoPro footage.

On Precise, XFCE, latest Kdenlive from software center, initial setup wizard said I had all packages/codecs needed to install.
