Rendering hangs when "export audio" is checked

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to render a video but the rendering process will hang indefinitely when the progress bar reaches 100%. I tried all profiles with no luck. However if I uncheck "export audio" the rendering is flawless. Also I noticed the estimated remaining time is shorter when audio is checked.

To be honest I have the same problem with other video editing problems so I'm aware it's not Kdenlive's fault but I assumed this might be the best place to get some help.

By the way my config is a bit unconventional (which must be the cause of my problem), I compiled a realtime kernel copying and pasting lines from a tutorial, not knowing what I was doing.

Hope someone can help! Thanks for your time!

rendering is done by melt, I don't think your kernel has anything to do with that quite common problem. Which melt version do you run? What output codecs do you use? Which version of ffmpeg or avconv do you have (for codecs)?
Thanks for highlighting the audio difference, I didn't identify that particular aspect!

Thanks a lot for replying.

Here are my answers:

- Which melt version do you run?
0.9.3+git20140926.bbf724b6-0ubuntu0~sunab~precise1

- What output codecs do you use?
I have tried most of the codecs installed on my PC so I guess it is not codec-related either.

- Which version of ffmpeg or avconv do you have (for codecs)?
avconv version 9.18-6:9.18-0ubuntu0.14.04.1
I can't seem to find the ffmpeg version, how do I do that?

Thanks again.
