No Audio after rendering

Fri May 22, 2015 2:57 pm
Hi there,

here i am again!

After upgrading to ubuntu studio 15.04 and kdenlive 15.04.0 (KDE Framework 5.9.0), the problem that the video clips were in fast motion after rendering seems to be solved, Great! Everything would be fine, when the application would work proper now, but i was to optimistic too soon! Now there is the next problem:

The rendered clips has no audio. VOB seems okay, but the lossless convertions are making trouble. No sound! :(

I tried to install the last daily builds from meltytech.com:
kdenlive-ubuntu14.04-x86-20150521
kdenlive-ubuntu14.04-x86-20150520
kdenlive-ubuntu14.04-x86-20150519
kdenlive-ubuntu12.04-x86_64-20150520
kdenlive-ubuntu12.04-x86_64-20150519

Either i get the message from the terminal:

Code: Select all
kdenlive: error while loading shared libraries: libkdeui.so.5: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64

or

Code: Select all
kdenlive: error while loading shared libraries: libnepomuk.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

i was looking for hours to find any useful information to fix that problem, but without any result. Also i can not say if a daily bild will fix it at all.
I really don't know what else i can do anymore.

maybe someone here can help me.

i would appreciate it very much!

Okay, it's not a kdenlive or the rendered clip problem, that there is no audio. It's because VLC doesn't support AC3. (I was trying to render in MPEG-2 + AC3)
Totem plays the clip with audio a view seconds, then it stops with an error message...

Now I don't think it depends on a damaged clip, but rather on an AC3 Codec support-thing with the Media players.

So this thread can be closed!

SOLVED!

Thanks,
Pisco
