I'm trying to create 16:9 proxy clips for 1920x1080 material, so I edited the proxy settings in 'Configure Kdenlive', creating a new proxy profile called 960x540, and changing the dimensions to 960x540.
However, I can't actually find a way to produce these proxies - I can't change the proxy settings under 'Project Settings'.
So any proxies created are still the wrong size and aspect ratio (640x480).

I see that this bug has already been reported ( :) ) but I need a fix for my current project - any idea if there's a way I can edit the project file or a config file for a quick-and-dirty one-off workaround?

Ah, that wasn't too hard at all, I found the answer - just had to change the dimensions in the proxy settings under <documentproperties>:
Code: Select all
<documentproperties enableproxy="1" proxyimageminsize="2000" generateimageproxy="1"
...
 proxyparams="-f mpegts -acodec libmp3lame -ac 2 -ab 128k -vcodec mpeg2video -g 5 -s 960x540 -qscale 7" renderratio="1" renderguide="0" documentid="1420132942062"/>

You could also consider not resizing for the proxy - it's usually plenty fast for me without.
