I searched the forums but could not find Kdenlive support for Apple Intermediate Codec (AIC).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_Intermediate_Codec

I recently installed Linux Mint on Macbook in my effort to move my video workflow away from iMovie.
iMovie stores video clips in AIC and I would like if possible to use them with Kdenlive. Is this possible?

I am currently using Hnadbrake to transcode AIC to MP4 High Profile to import into Kdenlive.

Linux Mint 17.3 CInammon 64 bit. Linux Kernel 3.19.0-32.
Kdenlive 0.9.8 KDE 4.14.2

Thank you!
