i tried untrunc and got
as it is a documentary project it is a shot that cant be repeated, so any help is very much appreciated!! |

Recovering mp4 containers can be difficult, so don't expect much. I had some success with my GoPro Hero 3 which nukes the FAT from time to time. I've written about the tools I used here: http://thediveo-e.blogspot.de/2014/03/f ... d-err.html

Thank you , very nice blog!
So I just downloaded file repair the trial version and it seems to run smoothly under wine, it scans the file and when i click on repaired movie, the preview image just gets green. so not too sure if this is a problem of wine or of my movie ;( (edit: i found the output file and it seems to do a good job on repairing, at least i see something although the video hangs all vew frames etc..) there s also some online repair sevices (like aeroquartet) i found last night that are incredible expensive (like 130$ for recovering one file) and seem to target people like me who are desperate to repair their files... |
