I want to render my video stream in Kdenlive 16.04 with constant bitrate. Is it possible ? How ?

CBR profiles were removed, but you can create a custom render profile, setting "vb" and "ab" parameters (and removing the quality settings)...
Maybe some are already available online, download accessible near Help menu?

I apologize in advance if this is not the way things work, but I really don't know what to do anymore. I don't know much about setting up the rendering parameters. I've been working with CBR profile, and now that the new version of kdenlive is out, I don't know which profile to choose for my videos.

My question is: Could you please help me out set the parameters that are as similar as possible to the CBR profile?

I would really appreciate any help on this.

basically you'll want to copy and existing profile, give it a new name (whatever you want) and then either add or edit the "vb" and "ab" parameters

with all due respect but this seems like a big step backwards instead of forward. Isn't it possible to add a bitrate option under the option ''more options''?
