Hi, sorry if this is the wrong area for posting this, this is my first time, I've been led to General discussion and don't know how to post a how to convert a few .mts files I have to .mp4 in the forum. I'm using Linux Manjaro, Arch.

Hello
For kdenlive you do not need to convert .mts files to .mp4 format. ffmpeg -i input.mts output.mp4 does the trick, but the compression by default settings is quite drops the quality quite radically for editing purposes in my mind. --assadaf |

add "-crf 20" to the ffmpeg line and you should be happy (video quality factor)
