Hey everyone,
I made videos with Kdenlive. They play perfectly on VLC on the computer (running Ubuntu) on which they were created, but not at all on VLC on my Raspberry Pi (I tried Raspbian and Ubuntu Mate). I have been trying to get VLC to play them but I failed. I am now trying to find out if I can do something in Kdenlive to make them playable on the Rasp, because I have been able to play video samples found on the web, but not mine. Apparently VLC on Raspberry doesn't support graphical acceleration, is there any way I can make videos with Kdenlive that don't require it? Thanks! |

the issue is from VLC side.. not Video-file side.. have you tried to reproduce the videos using OMXPlayer ?

Thanks for replying.
I have not because I absolutely need to use VLC (it's the only player I have found that supports playlists, image files ans costom key bindings). I know the problem lies with VLC but i can't fix it, I'm trying to find a way to generate videos with Kdenlive that my VLC installation can play. Thanks again! |

There are plenty of render formats, which ones did you try?
Normally all those presets work in VLC! |

Exactly, that is what is driving me crazy.
Ok I just created short video files of every format available in Kdenlive, not even one of them works correctly. The closest I got is webm which displays the video correctly but sometimes skips a bit of sound. |
