Modifying output coding level?

Thu May 24, 2018 8:46 am
I'm working on a project for a friend that requires some colour correction. Unfortunately, computer monitors are almost impossible to set accurately, so every so often I need to do a test render to view on a proper TV to see if I've got it right. Unfortunately, when kdenlive renders to mp4, it does so at a level that my TV (Panasonic) can't handle!

Mediainfo reports:

Code: Select all
Video
ID                                         : 1
Format                                 : AVC
Format/Info                         : Advanced Video Codec
Format profile                     : High 4:4:4 Predictive Intra@L4
Format settings, CABAC      : Yes
Format settings, GOP          : N=1

The problem seems to be the Format Profile setting. Is there any easy way of adjusting this as in ffmpeg? Setting preset to medium when coding with ffmpeg works like a charm, but I can't find an equivalent in kdenlive!

TIA

Forget it! It was finger trouble on my part!

I must have selected the lossless codec in error.......
