Hi, independend fro the target codec rendering of my project shows just a frozen image.
I have a mpg/mp4 video file and overlay a couple of pictures but just the first frame or ablack picture depending o the viewer (kaffeine, smplayer, dragonplayer, vnc)
is shown. Audio is fine. Minimum setup is just a mpg or mp4 video that are played fine standalone. Preview uis find. Only when i import the video as avi I get a video output.

System is leap 42.3, all multimedia stuff is from packman. Installation is standard by YasT, theres no failuer and rendering goes through without any issue. After I have the issue now for days by mv vacation video i tried also the newest software from yesterdays build and the appimage for the new version. The problem stays. Honestly I have no idea when the issue started becaus I don't use kdenlive not all day.

I made exactly the same setup with openshot without any issue, rendered video is fine.

Any idea how I can find out more?

Do you have tried with AppImage version 18.08? If not try.
