Hello,
I have a problem when I render my videos, indeed whenever I try to render them it does not render the multiple video tracks but just the first one (for example, if I put a picture in another track to overlap with the video, it does not appear). I tried rendering in mp4 and in mpeg-2 (giving me a .mpg and only sound - is it normal ?). Hope someone know what is the issue (I hope it's juste me doing something wrong hahaha) Thanks for reading !

You can try 2 things:
- Change the preview in the timeline (top ant left) to High Quality. - Make sure the picture size match the video size (i.e. 1920x1080). Try with the actual version 18.08.3 (AppImage) or 18.08.2 (Windows). |

Hi, thanks for your answer !
I'll try the new version in last as I have the 18.08.1 version (I'm on Windows) and if I can avoid redownloading it I would be happy hahaha The preview in a timeline is already set to HQ. For the picture size, I added the picture in the title clip so do you think it could still be the problem ? (the original picture is 335 pixels * 660 pixels) I tried changing a couple things to try and understand more what's going on and it seems like the problem is, in the end, not really the track but the clip: imported video clips work just fine (it does not depend on the track), title clips also (and same, it does not depend on the track) but just the clip with the picture does not work (in any of the tracks - if it should overlay than there's just the video and if it should be the only thing on screen, the screen is black). With a previous video, I had a problem with the rendering too: there was supposed to be a text that passes from right to left over a video, but after rendering when the text passes over, the background is not the video but a black background (but the sound still goes on). Do you think I'm missing something here or is it probably a bug ? (I'll go download the newest version and tell you if it changes anything)

Sorry for the double post, I just wanted to update and say that I tried with the latest version (18.08.2) and I get the same result.

It seems something is wrong with the title clip.
A similar issue is here: viewtopic.php?f=272&t=154442 and here: viewtopic.php?f=270&t=155934 . Strange. Do you use special character in the title clip? Try with a picture in the title clip which matches the video size. |
