GPU Acceleration (Movit) with AppImage

I'm using the app image and the GPU Acceleration setting is greyed out. How do I make it work? I have movit installed.

Actually, the library is not well supported and it leads to crashes. This is the reason why in 19.04 GPU acceleration is switched off. The Dev’s thinking about a better GPU implementation.
