I am unable to render on Kdenlive if i select a certain zone or use guides.
Rendering is fine when it is done from start to finish, but does not work if a zone is selected or guides are used.

Below is the terminal output:

This process ends in like 1 second and just leaves a video file of a few kilobytes as the output.

Apologies if this is not the place for reporting this - I'm totally new here.
Any help would be appreciated.

PS: i'm running Solus Linux.

Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 19.08.2b to see if there are any packaging issues https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/

If the problem/issue doesn't occur when using the AppImage, then it's your configuration or packaging.
