Hi,
I've just started using kdenlive, so am willing to take blame for whatever newbie mistake I'm making. But any help would be appreciated. I'm using version 20.08.0 on Windows 10. I have a short project, made up of four clips. In preview mode the transitions from one to the other are perfect and invisible. However, the rendered video has a black gap of approx. one second between two of them. I've tried different rendering settings for quality, parallel processing, and output format, but all with the same incorrect result. The result is the same whether I render the full video or just a zone around the incorrect transition. I've also tried the preview renderer. It shows a correct transition (so no gap) in preview mode. But even so the final product is still incorrect. Any ideas? thanks, Hans. |

Replying to myself: looking at some other recent problems with rendering, the fix for now is to change the settings for number notation to use a "." instead of a ','.
Given the other reported problems I assume it's a known issue and will be fixed sometime. But for now I'm happy that I can proceed. |
