I whant to convert à 16:9 video to make it compatible with tik tok.

I use this profile that I have created:



On the preview I have this image, obtained thanks to two superimposed videos and the zoom option:



But when I render it, I have this:



The video is horizontal not vertical ! What am I doing wrong ?

The whole project has to be set to 9:16. Then it works. Render a 16:9 project as 9:16 doesn't work.

create a new project (any resolution)
after that import first clip (rotated vertical clip) on project bin...
Kdenlive asks for a project resolution change.. suggesting 1080x1920 ...
you have to accept that change... and after that everything become "portrait"

this choice can be made only when importing FIRST clip... make sure this clip have the final "geometry" that you want.

P.S. if you want to place ladscapes clips on this "portrait" project .. .it's necessary to use the "transform" effect to ENLARGE clips.

the strange thing Eugen is that CREATING a vertical HD project (on CUSTOM resolutions) is not making a 1080x1920 final rendering...
