I am using Kdenlive AppImage 20.12.0-x86_64 on my Manjaro Linux. My Hardware consists of a i5-7400 CPU, 16 GB of RAM and a nVidia GTX1650 with 6 GB RAM.
From my Sony A6400 I get MP4-Videos Video: 1920x1080 @50fps, AVC (High@L4.2) (CABAC / 2 RefFrames) and 24Mb/s Audio: 1536 kb/s, 48kHz, 16bits, 2 channel, PCM (Big/Signed) I try to render using the default audio only MP3 rendering settings. Thus my nVidia graphic card should not be used. The rendering starts, but will never finish its job. But it generates a log file in the output folder, telling me:
Is there any problem with the audio codec which would be eventually necessary, when processing files from my camera = PCM Big / Signed? I have no clue, what the messages in the log do mean to me and what I eventually could do, to avoid the error. If there would be problems with the PCM audio from my camera, this would also explain, why rendering of the complete clip is excessively slow: When rendering via the experimental nVidia GPU settings, it will need about 30 minutes to render a videoclip of only 7 minutes (1,6 GB file from camera) But when I am using the default MP4 rendering profile, using the internal GPU of my Intel CPU, this will increase rendering time of the above described camera file to about 40 minutes. It seems, that I cannot change the camera settings to achieve another encoding, which would eventually fit better to Kdenlive's abilities. How can I improve my situation with Kdenlive? |
