I used kdenlive since several years on my old laptop with ubuntu with no issues. Since the beginning of January I have a new PC with a nvidia RTX2060.
I'm very excited to test nvidia acceleration in kdenlive. It's very fast, but the result was not as I thought with larger files than intel CPU rendered, anyway, it's another topic

I use kdenlive 20.12.2 from the official ppa.
My problem is with proxy clips : I enabled the proxy clip in configuration, as I did on my previous laptop, select auto profile and let's go ! Unfortunately, when I import a new clip I have an issue :

[NULL @ 0x55945eadf240] Unable to find a suitable output format for 'vcodec=nvenc_h264' vcodec=nvenc_h264: Invalid argument

and the proxy clip is not created.
I tried to change the profile to force x264 or another profile, but always the same issue ! I deleted NVENC profile for proxy for testing, but always same issue.
How to do to generate proxy clip ?

I'm on Windows and I can render NVENC just fine and it's fast!
But I can't get it to work for rendering proxy files "Failed to create proxy clip".
This would boost editing soo much! Pls, make it work (or I'm just doing something wrong).
Great work on Kdenlive though!
