Most recently I’ve found kdenlive and noticed: It's a very useful editing tool.
kdenlive is much more useful than the current Ado Premiere Elements 2021 and it's even partly better than my good old Ado PremPro CS6 -
- because the import of many common video formats is not possible with these two programs.

I still have a very basic question to which I couldn’t find a dedicated answer here.
What I've seen so far is that kdenlive can handle much more if not almost all common video formats.

My question: Can kdenlive import and render the following formats:

Mov
50,00p, 200 Mbit/s 4:2:0 10 Bit LongGOP / (H.265/HEVC, LPCM)
25,00p, 400 Mbit/s 4:2:2 10-bit ALL-Intra / 150 Mbit/s 4:2:2 10 Bit LongGOP (H.264)

Mp4
50,00 p, 100 Mbit/s 4:2:0 10 Bit LongGOP (H.265/HEVC)

Last question: Does kdenlive have GPU support for rendering ? (e.g. for a GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER)

you are talking about Windows's softwares and i'm assuming you are using Windows 10 or 11... right now the GPU accelleration is not supported on Windows. (and also on Linux.. but on Linux there is a working in progess about that)
