Hello. I am a newb and really would like some help please. I am attempting to render videos with melt via command line, on a spare headless ubuntu machine, I don't care how long the renders take as long as I can replicate this on other machines so I can keep creating videos on my main windows 10 PC.

SO my best attempt at a workflow is: windows 10 file creation > transfer to central NFS share > transfer to headless ubuntu machine > connect via ssh to headless ubuntu machine > render video via command line and ssh > copy file back to central NFS share > cloud

I am using Ubuntu 20.04 headless and Windows 10 (same versions of kdenlive) and the latest version of Kdenlive on the PPA which I believe is 21.12.0. I am running the following script on the command line and when I play back the finished 'output2.mp4' the file just says 'INVALID'. The xvfb-run is so I can run this rendering via ssh terminal without opening an X11 session.

xvfb-run -a melt /rsync2/kdenlive-renderqueue/quickamsoil.mlt -consumer avformat:/rsync2/output2.mp4 f=mp4 movflags=+faststart vcodec=libx264 progressive=0 g=15 bf=2 acodec=aac ab=96k

I have been pulling my hair out literally for 5 days and this is my last stop before insanity! :'( :D Please help or direct me to where ever it is I need to go and post this. I mean no github faux pas. I humbly thank you kindly. :)

So i know nothing about what you're trying to do, but the invalid thing usually means kdenlive doesn't have the original clips. How do you transfer your clips from you windows computer to the ubuntu one ?
