Hi,
in the render-dialog is an option to download some extra profiles for special use-cases. But if I need to copy over my 'private', self-made profile to a 2nd installation - how do I do that? OK, in a regular installation, I can copy this from one profile.xml to the other... But - I'm running actually 1x regular installation (21.12.3) and 1x Appimage (22.04). I think here is no profile.xml (that I can reach and copy into)?

I hate a question without an answer
I don't understand what you want but if you created it then kdenlive needs to store it somewhere, it doesn't matter if it's a normal install or appimage. By default the AppImage data is saved at user folder in linux. Correct me if I'm wrong. |

You are sooooo right....
RTFM is a nice thing, but you need to read the right pages I started over in a fresh, virgin install and didn't find any customized profile - so I ended up at the systemwide profile.xml. And this has been then the center of my universe... And I searched it also in the appimage - if you need it: /tmp/.mount_kde*/... Your hints and some new appimages away I found it now in ~/.local/share/kdenlive/export/ and I am happy (kind of). No more export needed... Thank you!
