I was using Kdenlive 21.12.2 (under Linux) until recently, and moved to the appimage of 22.04.3, only to find that the quality options (video and audio bitrate) I was used to using for rendering are gone. It's convenient to have a way to set all of that manually, instead of having to create a custom preset to make adjustments.

I don't understand why that feature was removed. I'd hope the developers would consider putting it back.

This is what I am referring to - first image is of 21.12.2, the bottom one is 22.04.3. Notice the difference.

the options was replaced because they was totally wrong.... the speed was not speed and the sliders are not related to CPU usage or time of rendering and a lot of other things... the new redering dialog is correct and need that users try a little bit to found best options for speed/size .. btw there is an entire topic here: https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kdenlive/-/issues/444

you can add your requests on the linked topic.

P.S. there is also another topic about the sliders: viewtopic.php?f=272&t=174528
