Hi, I don't understand how to enable prores among the rendering presets. It's been years since I've used Kdenlive, once prores was in the "intermediate" category if I'm not mistaken, but now it doesn't exist anymore and neither does a prores preset.
So I tried "Download New Render Presets," I downloaded and enabled these But still no prores presets appear among the render presets. What should I do? I am using Kdenlive version 22.12.1. Thanks |

Hmmm, I just installed the ProRes you highlighted in the screenshot (thanks for that, makes it so much easier to replicate). It worked for me on kdenlive 22.12.1 on Linux.
It showed up in the group I had open when entering the Render window so you may want to make sure it appears there. If all else fails I can send you the screenshot or the XML file and you can create a profile yourself.
This forum will soon be archived and you won't be able to interact with it anymore. Please use KDE Discuss instead.

First of all, thank you for the help.
I forgot to mention that I am on windows 11. In the meantime the situation gets even stranger... I find those previously prores presets in the screenshot still present and installed despite the fact that in the meantime I uninstalled kdenlive, deleted all its traces from the local and roaming folders, downloaded a new portable version and started that one.... How is this possible???? In any case, in the main list they still do not appear. |
