Hello,

I've been using kdenlive for several short clips (up to max. 10min) since manx years on my SuSE desktop, and I have existed ;-)
Currently I've to work on a windows laptop as it's the fastest CPU here @home ...
I created a 45min project with a mixture of photos (JPG + PNG) and GoPro HD clips. Also two successfully rendered kdenlive projects (created on the samw laptop with old kdenlive 21.x) were included. Now rendering the project crashes with an BFRAME error - at least I guess that this causes the error.
Please find the log below.

The only thing a found in the web was an already removed reddit thread about this issue.

Can anyone help?

BTW: Clips's deadline is today evening :<

An 21.x version was installed until about two weeks ago and 22.12.0 was installed without prior uninstalling the 21.x one

Hello,

looks like I nailed it down to one of the two included projects.
I started rendering parts of the project and finally a part including the project failed. Another included project rendered without issues.
The second project has a 1704x1520 resolution, and was already rendered. Guess this is the issue. A MP4 file exists.

I didn't take care for the project's settings... I'll continue to render the whole project in several parts. So at least will have have the several parts. Afterwards I'll take care of the 2nd included project, change it's settings to fit the one's it's included and will give another try to render the whole project.

Consider this as documentaion ;-)
Regards,
Chris

Hello,

finally it was caused by the imported project's settings. After changing these to fit to parent-project's ones, it rendered succussfully ^-^

Regards,
Chris
