Hi,

From today I am unable to add clips to the project bin properly. Kdenlive crashes most times.

If I render a project then I get the following error report (and it crashes):

Warning: Ignoring XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland on Gnome. Use QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland to run on Wayland anyway.
[wav @ 0x55cb50eab740]
Discarding ID3 tags because more suitable tags were found.
[wav @ 0x55cb50ea2000]
Discarding ID3 tags because more suitable tags were found.

Every thing was working yesterday without problems. By starting a new project I get the same problems.

Please advice!

Something must have changed. Did your system update?

Perhaps deleting all kdenliverc files would help. If all else fails the appimage is a reliable alternative ...

No, to delete the file did not help.

I changed from Wayland to XOrg as well. But same problem. Here is the rendering error:

Discarding ID3 tags because more suitable tags were found.

Does this happen with the appimage of kdenlive too?

Looks like something doesn't gel with the .wav files. Can you change them to .ac3 or mp3? If they are part of the video you are importing perhaps ffmpeg CLI may help by re-encoding the audio stream to something other than .wav

No, changing into another format did not help. Yes, it is always a soundfile. But there are several sound files not working who are worked previously.

Sorry to hear but now I am out of my depth. I suggest to open a bug report at https://bugs.kde.org.

Thanks. I wrote a bug report already. Tried so many things. Even re-installing Kdenlive. Very upsetting.

Funny is that I got the project running. I shortend the first part at the position where Kdenlive crashes. I absolutly unlogical. I short gap solved it. There was no other way to get it running. See picture at:
