ʕ •́؈•̀ ₎ Hi there everyone! I'm Nathan, a 2d game designer, and I make tutorials weekly on my youtube channel. I've been looking to switch to and cover open source tools for game creation in the past few months, and took the leap recently. I first explored a dozen of software to replace proprietary tools. Among them was Krita 2.9, a great surprise after having tested the early 2.8 version on Windows. It offers a great drawing feel, a relatively mature toolset and more importantly is getting frequent, substantial updates! I'm really eager to see free (as in free speech) software get more and more recognition and visibility among professionals, like blender or LibreOffice. I think that Krita is well on its way as far as this is concerned, and should slowly become the Blender of 2d. They are all right there: 50+ Game Design/Art Tutorials. ʕ •́؈•̀ ₎ I hope you'll like the tuts! Don't hesitate to share your thoughts on them.
