Hiya folx,

I very like this brushset. I'm afraid that newer versions of KRITA (alpha or stable) no longer support this set.
Take a look at this
http://i63.tinypic.com/1z3qfwm.png

This is the same brushset and on the left is concept&illustration.bundle in Krita4_pre-alpha_[git31b678c] (older), on the right is one of the newest ones.
So it turns out that, for example, this nice brush ("2.Bristles: canvas-brush") has lost its nice textured look!!! :( What to do with that? How to fix it to get its proper look? :o

I don't know how this work in Krita 4 as I don't use it but as far as I remember from older/current versions, you need to add pattern to the brush tip - go to brush setting and under texture you have pattern option, choose pattern and it should work. Maybe Krita 4 doesn't have this pattern, so copy it from older version.

the brush pack is fine. There are some new settings in the texture options that messed it up in 3.3 (which also get added to 4.0). There is a bug fix release that will happen that will patch it. No need to update the brush pack.

Hello!
I love this brush pack, thank you very much.
Though, is there an updated release? I have been using it for a long time, and there's always 2 problems I get when I activate this pack:

- on start up I always get the message "following resources have mismatching MD5 sums: *brush list of this pack*"
- it "breaks" my tags. Some brushes (even outside this bundle) If add, for example, to the Favorites tag, won't get tagged. Instead, a generic brush from this pack (usually the vertical lines) will assume it's place in Favorites, even if I didin't tag it.

When I deactivate this bundle, everything works fine. No messages, tags system works nicely.

Thanks again!

The basic brushes are for everything. They are the hard rounds with and without pressure sensitivity for opacity, the soft brushes, and common painting brushes with no texture myprepaidcenter.

Hi, i've downloaded the brush pack, but i don't know what to do with it or how to use it. It's been downloaded as " concept&illustration.bundle ", but I can't open it on my Mac. I've tried dragging & dropping onto the Krita application. Do i have put in the the Krita's content folder in order to access the brushes?

Brush bundles go in your resource folder, yes. You don't need to put them there by hand, they can be added through the menu as explained here:
https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_man ... -resources
Maybe at some point adding bundles per drag and drop could be implemented, but it's not possible at the moment.

Just in case:
- if you are still looking for this nice brushset, its author put it here: https://app.box.com/s/ij0gj5quw3i020mddcn6wtvuc81e3sh8
... and it still works! :) 8-)

mismatching MD5 sums error

Fri Dec 06, 2019 1:05 am
Edit: [Message Removed] I was getting the MD5 error, but realized I downloaded the wrong version (Use the link on the very first page of this thread, not the link above this post).

Love this brush pack!

Hello everyone!
Here's the updated Bundle, but don't get to exited, as there are no new brushes.

Image

So what's new?

- First, and more importantly, all the brushes were overwritten with Krita 4.3.0 to avoid any compatibility issues, since the other bundle was created with a much older version of Krita.
- The flat brushes are now completely flat and not elliptical.
- Tweaked the precision and Spacing settings in brushes that were demanding performance wise in older versions of Krita. These settings are the ideal.
- Tweaked the textured brushes. Fine tuned them according to what I actually had in mind when I first made them.
- Some changes in the pressure of some brushes.

And I think that's all.

Here''s the link for the download: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sl8sW7 ... sp=sharing

Have fun, and let me know if there's any problem ;)
