Krita User Interface Charcoal Theme

1. go to C:\Program Files\Krita (x64)\share\color-schemes ..or the location you installed Krita

2. Copy "KritaDark.colors" and paste it on Desktop

3. Open the file with Wordpad, this gives you all the settings nicely listed vertically

4. Then change the following values:

This will give you a darker UI background, and without changing the color of the foreground such as text, it increases the contrast as well.

5. Save the file under a new name, for example "Charcoal" *make sure you don't delete the .colors file extension

6. Copy the file and paste it in the same folder as step 1.

Now when you launch Krita, go to Setting > Themes and your Charcoal theme can be picked (or the name that you gave it inside the file)

Hi ambiroa,

thank you for sharing the color scheme, I would advice sharing a screenshot of the final result . that would be nice to see what it will look before trying :)
