Cloud Brushes Part I

Tue Jan 10, 2017 1:24 pm
Hi everyone,

I’m starting to share some of my custom brush presets.
There are several I’m using, but it takes ages for me to get them ready to be used by other people, and since I have little spare time I’ll make them available one by one when I can.

This is the first part of my Clouds Brushes. I use them to paint clouds (duh), smoke, haze and so on.
Since I like my pop up palette to have 12 icons, I always make sets of 12 brushes, and if I make more I usually split them up into multiple sub sets. So, at some point I’ll be sharing Cloud Brush set part 2.

Have a look at this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xo4VszXLWNE to see how they are used, some of them are not exactly intuitive and you might think they’re weird if you don’t know what they’re supposed to do.
Ah, there is no way I could find to export the brushes in a bundled form (the brush tips were always missing), so I packed them “the old way”.

You can download the file here https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bx38TcavwZhKQ09kMnBZU05uYTg.

As an alternative, you can pop at my website http://www.paolopuggioni.com/krita-cloud-brushes-i/ where everything is laid out nicely and with more preview images:)

Feedback is welcome!

Thank you Paolo ! :)

I've just loaded them and tried them and they all have distinct individual effects and give wonderful results.
Your tutorial/demo video is well made and useful too. I'll look forward to seeing more brushes in the future when you have time.
