Tutorial nr 5 is up on UserBase: http://userbase.kde.org/Krita/Tutorial_5. Still a little rough around the edges - will polish it later. Enjoy.

Here are the first UserBase versions of http://userbase.kde.org/Krita/Tutorial_6 and http://userbase.kde.org/Krita/Tutorial_8 - as before they still need some polishing. Enjoy.

Th... whoa, fast! Here's the file again:
https://www.yousendit.com/download/UW13 ... V3h4Tk1UQw

Anyway, thank you so much for converting everything to the wiki! I know how annoying and tedious such things can be. Are you finally done translating strings? :D Once you're done with all the wiki tutorials, I'll also invert the DA and wiki links on the resource page to encourage the users to go to the wiki version first. :) Besides, it should be handier for them to have a proper index (I've always been too lazy to make those xD ).

Wow, you say they need polishing, but they look great already! :D

Got it. thanks.

Your tutorials are shaping up really nicely on UserBase; and the first translation is underway, thanks to Neverendingo! It is going to be a great ressource.

Thanks claus! :D Someone is Actually translating it? I know you said that the advantage of KDE userbase is that others can translate the content there, but I kind of assumed that it'd just sit there. Thanks for the hard work Neverendingo! I wouldn't want to be in your place. xD (I mean, so many technical terms and silly comments D: )

Perfect! Thank you so much for your great initiative! It's becoming obvious to me that with the pace Krita adds new features, these tutorials may get outdated fast, so a convenient platform for updating them is a very good idea. Thanks again for your work, the resources page will be updated soon enough. B)

That's awesome! How about a Kde Userbase version to make it easier to link to and find back? :D
I thought starting with 2.6, Shift+mousewheel is supposed to rotate the canvas too, or did I confuse that with something else?

Oh yes, weren't there the F keys too? I remember reading that F2 made incremental save versions (was that the right key?).
(^oops, I just saw that this one was under F4, my bad)

Hey Guys, Check out the following youtube channel from FZD School of design. Feng Zhu founded the school, and he has been releasing all sorts of tutorials and tips over the years. So far the tutorials are concerned, they can easily be done in krita, as Feng mostly deal with a simple brush tool. Do not miss this out..

I'm pretty sure there must be more than one way to achieve this in Krita, there are a couple of filters in G'Mic, I haven't used them thus not sure if it works in a similar way (but you can try). I remember a while ago I did something similar by using a image (a finalized drawing in Krita, not on a working .kra file) opened and triplicated, (duplicated twice to have three of the exact same images on three respective layers), then on the two top layers I changed the layers blending mode to lighten (I think multiply also worked similar) and hide the color channels respectively (right click on the layer, Properties, un-check the boxes for the undesired channel), then slightly move each layer to each side (stereo) and kind of work to make some chromatic aberration, this is how my layer look like:

layer3 - lighten - only red/alpha selected - few pixels to the left
layer2 - lighten - only green/alpha selected - few pixels to the right
layer1 - normal - all channels selected - unmoved

If you play around with layers properties you may come around with even better methods
