My sketchbook/first steps in Krita

Wed Dec 11, 2013 9:32 am
Hello everyone!

I'm new here and relatively new to Krita. I used it a bit back when I had Linux Mint installed on my PC, but lately I've been using Windows and only recently learned that there's relatively fresh and stable build for my OS. For porting Krita to Windows- huge thanks! Now I have some time to learn few things about the software by actually trying them rather than looking at other people's artworks :)

I really like flow and brush engines, still there are plethora things very different from my experiences with Gimp, some Photoshop and MyPaint, mainly in color mixing and blending- I'll be trying to find new workflow for Krita :)

Here are some silhouttes, sketches and relatively finished enviro I managed to do so far- crits and comments very welcome :)

I can't critique on a work so much better than mine. I can only say, wow. I love like the many pose sketches. And I like the organic look you have got on the armored colored piece.
