Hi everybody, I've just started using Krita and I think it is awesome. Thanks to the developers!
Greetings from Spain.

Thanks, hope I'll learn here tips in order to improve my skill and how to use all the options that krita offers (although I see it is very intuitive).
By the way, excuse me if I write something wrong or just stupid, I've almost forgotten the little English I'd learnt (and it never was too much). Another tribute to Frank Miller and Marvel's characters: |

I tried to make textures with different krita brushes..

And another "Daredevil", but I don't like it very much, I think I've penciled it with "too much muscle" for this character..

Today I discovered a very useful (to me) option in Krita.. rotating canvas, especially for shading with lines.. (I suppose it has a proper name in English, but I don't know).

Yes, rotate canvas is pretty cool . I've mapped my wacom's ring to do that, actually. Also, impressive art! (Even though I don't care too much for the superhero style of comics, it's well executed.)

Yes, It's very helpfull, I guess it's not so necessary if you work with a Cintiq Companion, or something similar, in wich you can rotate "physically" the screen itself , as you can do working in paper. By the way I don't have the wacom's ring, I'm working with a bamboo, but even the low price I think it has a amazing sensibility. Thanks for the comment, I started drawing super-hero comics when I was a child and recently I started drawing again so I recovered my old well known characters.. |

It's so easy to draw with Krita that I think I'm cheating.
Again, thank you very much to the developers.

"It's so easy to draw with Krita that I think I'm cheating. " -- I might just use that as a tag line for the next release announcement

You can do that, It's true. My last drawing I had a lot of work done when I wanted to change the size of her pretty head. Working with layers I thought it'd be very complicated (you know, changing every layer each every time and so on), but no. I only made a folder, picked in all the layers and resized the folder directly... Wonderful. |
