I draw a LOT with charcoal sticks, and here's my attempt to make its digital nemesis.
Special property's: 'better' quality when zoomed in, to the point of one dot per pixel -pixel engine -base form: automatic, golden ratio rectangle -density at about 16 -spacing auto at 40 or even more, which makes it really fast, because low density [/img]h[/img]ides 'dots' -build up-painting mode, !combined with low opacity/flow! -opacity,flow set to pressure -ratio set to tilt elevation, mimics angle of charcoal stick -size set to pressure AND tilt direction (like we've been used to with pencils for x years) -rotation set to rotation, enables you to fill in precisely AND cover big surfaces (I'm in heaven now) -windows button on wacom set to switch black/white, I do this without thinking about it, no need for eraser /-mode Set canvas only and full screen, painted for hours on end without needing any menu/dockers. I could talk about these things for hours... |
