I am working on my very first illustration using Krita 4. I am in love with this new version of Krita, and will probably switch over to Krita from my other illustration programs, from now on. This little sketch is to be contionued and I will put the WIP up on my blog http://pennstreck.blogspot.se/. I used the Charcoal Pencil Meduim for the line drawing. Picture size is about 130 X 165 mm at 300 dpi.

I am studying how to use Clipping Masks, Inherit Alpha, Masking and Lock Transparency in Krita. I think I got it. Better than Photoshop and Clip Studio... easy to understand and to use. I am painting the flat colours before texturing, tinting and shading and such.

This is my first picture completely made in Krita 4. I have learned a lot, but probably not enough... the program is a bit complex. The most important thing I have learned so far is not to rely on the Photoshop format + Krita. Photoshop does not read clipping masks, inherit alpha in group layers. I have to merge the masking layer group before exporting the psd-file to Affinity (where I export all layers whith LUA scripting to use in the Spine animator).

I really think I will use Krita as my primary illustration tool from now on.
