Very good job ; and good painterly feeling. I also like the usage of pure black.
My little feedback, I think your scene could go further with better trees around ( or bluring this one ). Also the higher bright value would works better on the item of the wizard ( you already brighten it ). For the moment, on the value the horizon sky keeps eye attraction. ( but thanks your circular compo the eyes keeps focused ). Also , I think your painterly effect could be sharpened a little bit. All of this -of course- are just crits according my taste. |

Thanks Deevad for very good feedback!
I will try correct some things latter and I will play around with your advices and bugs that I spotted. I'm still new for illustration, I worked mostly with portraits for concept art, so any feedback from viewers is big help for me. What they like and what not. Thanks again everybody |

The one niggly little thing that bugs me about the composition is where the griffon's knee goes behind the wizzards head, which I find a bit distracting. I can't help but feel that just the tiniest amount of space, so, the wizard's outline was unbroken, would strengthen a great piece even more.

Here goes my 2 cents 1 Imo it could be better if you keep some blank space over the wing. 2 This area can be confuse, maybe a wing , maybe an arm? colors are similar. 3 Smoke .This surface is not clear, which type of surface is it? 4 Pure whites are very dangerous and there is not reflections for such big lightsource. where does it came from? 5 I dont know if the animal is jumping, flying ... Overall i like the result, a restricted palette is a good idea to these dark type pictures. and i like the head and the oval composition. |

I love this work is very interesting and I love the theme.
I find the picture perfect, I love it! I like it so much I wanted to do a little retouching to highlight different areas of illumination of the image is just an idea if you want to tweak your work. Congratulations, I love it. I hope you do not mind to play with your work kisses Yuli |

Interesting topic, both for the original painting as for the answers…
