Summertime

Sat Jun 09, 2012 10:08 am
Okay, after a lot of sketching and training I made another pic with Krita.
Not quite the way I want my new style, but I'm on the way.

Drawing with Krita worked faster this time, even though it crashed often (maybe because of the size, it was about 4000 px wide and when I rezised the brush or moved something it crashed).
Anyway, it was fun! Now I just need to get my style the way I want! xD

Ew... Crashes :-(. That shouldn't happen at all! I'm not sure I remember -- and it's so hard to get good crash information on Windows. Were you using the latest installer I made this week?

Okay.. The new installer has some fixes -- gradients should be much faster -- but no crash fixes that I know of. I really should start living in Windows for a while so I can see what Krita does there myself :-).

In any case, thank you for sharing your wonderful image with us. It's cold, gray, drizzling wet and windy here in the Netherlands. This image has cheered me up completely!

It's not much different here in Germany, but I wanted to draw something happy that feels like summer. I hope the weather changes soon.
