Hello,
here is my third work with Krita (before I used it to make a comic based on my family life).
It is the second painting for a serie based on a trip in Bali, with 2 pictures as model.

After, I should print it on a canvas (50x100cm), and modify it with "real" painting.

Hi,
I've done some rework on my last digital painting.
For the first version, I made pixel effects, but lots of people were disturbed by it.
So for the final work, all the picture is more oil-style painted (or speed painting style if you prefer).
Whatever, it's lightly different :)

By the way, I sent it to be printed on a canvas (50x100cm) in order to modify it with "real" painting.

Oh, that's a good idea. Will you post a photo of the finished canvas for us?

Bali has to be one of my favorite places in the whole world (especially some of the small villages up around the North Eastern coast). This picture beautifully captures the contrast of constant, bustling human movement and the unique stillness and beauty the area has. It's a nice mixture of techniques, too.

Saya suka sekali kesenianmu! Terima kasih banyak untuk berbagi!

Your blog is interesting too. You seem to use different techniques. And I found it very funny as well.

Hi everybody,
I have finished this painting printed it on a canvas (50x100cm).
@ Kubuntiac : I am totally agree with you about "the contrast of constant, bustling human movement and the unique stillness and beauty the area has" in Bali. It is magic... Beautiful holidays.
@ fduriez : thank you.

As boudewijn suggested, I will show you with the next pictures how it came from virtual to real.
And because my technical/artistic English is not as good as I would like, I will only post photographs about the main steps.
I wish you will enjoy :)
And if you speak French, you can read more explanations here.
