Starting to use Krita

Tue Jul 10, 2012 4:22 pm
Hey!

Gotta say that it's a great software you got here guys. Since I haven't been painting more than half dozen paintings in my life (using Gimp, PS and MyPaint), I thought I might as well choose Krita to as my go-to painting soft, as I'm convinced it'll win out in the end (if it hadn't already :) )

I have a "wishlist", but for now I'll just mention that it would be cool if the size of the brushes stayed the size they were last time I used them ... at least in the current session (not after restarting the program necessarily). That would really save time.

Thanks

Ulf

Heh, I guess you're right ... now that I think about it :) Violence wasn't the first thing on my mind when I chose the references, but rather the simplicity of the images ... and they happened to be pretty violent simplicities xD

http://www.cinemasquid.com/blu-ray/movies/screenshots is a source for inspiration.

Thanks for liking tho

regards

Ulf
