So I thought I should stick to solids when I'm playing around until I've learned the program a bit more. So here is a quick drawing of a bird.



Ok the part that I noticed that I didn't know how to do (or if it is possible) was how to crop the entire image to selection. I C+P'ed this one into a new image which works so its not a big issue - I just thought if it was something I just haven't found yet.

Other than that I'm starting to get allot more comfortable with Krita - again, brilliant work you magical programmer/developer people!

also - "doodling birds" is NOT a euphemism!

Hum, you've found a regression... It used to be that the crop tool's rectangle was pre-initialized to the size of the selection, but that's broken. Could you help us and report that issue in bugs.kde.org? Thanks!

Sry sry... its no bug or anything - its just me who didn't find the crop-tool (kept looking for it up under edit (I'm kinda stuck mentally in PS)!
