Hello,

here is my last painting on a serie about Bali.
Starting with a picture, I made the grass with Mypaint, and finished it with Krita for the woman, the small monument and the effects.

Of course, I had lot of work on it...
I mention it because for some people (not you), working from a picture make the work less appreciable... you add this to the fact that I made it on computer, and then, patatra! My digital painting becomes a "photoshop filter made" ... and these people goes from "Wahoo, amazing painting! " to "Ah, okay, computer made, uhm..."
Hopefully another people sees all the changes I made, the averall new feeling I put in the painting, and that there is no more space of the old picture(s), all recovered by painting, but it still "hurts" me.
Sorry about the bad mood (it is my Calimero day ), but because I made quite a lot of oil and acrylic paintings, I still don't understand this way to see digital paintings.
