This was a little painting to test out Krita for the first time on Linux. I had used it on Windows and loved it but its still pretty clunky for me on my XP machine.
The difference was incredible.
This little girl here is Whisper. She is a dragon based off of a Turkey Vulture, so dont be alarmed, shes supposed to be ugly. This is a rework of her design, as I initially created her in the style of the dragons from How To Train Your Dragon. I tried to shift it to a style closer to my own shile still retaining the goofyness and joy of the style from How To Train Your Dragon.
I hope you like it, critiques are VERY welcome as I still a student and striving to improve

One little critique maybe the use of pure black is too much, it looks too much different than the rest of the shadings.

But still very well done!

Animtim, you are right, thanks for the advice I should have spent more time rendering the feathers to the same level as the rest of her, it just doesnt look quite right.
