Krita Animation

Fri Mar 22, 2013 8:54 pm
I discovered Krtita a couple months ago, and I love to sketch with it. Love the brushes and features so far.
Took some of my sketches and made an animation with them. The whole thing came kinda right off the top of my head, just making a creative outlet that was fun. I sometimes do so much work for others, I forget to do things for myself.
Hope you enjoy it!

Very cool and creative use of Krita!
That shows again how it can be a good tool for animation ;)

I wonder what other software (if any) did you use to make this video?

Whooa! Okay, I recognize Krita's brushes, but I have no idea how you managed to make such an awesome animation with them. O_o;
That was really cool, thanks for sharing!

I should have specified. I used krita for the characters and background, then used anime studio pro to animate. I would think animation could be added to krita though. Add a page flipper and onionskin and Viola! Krita animator. :) I remember when they added animation to Deluxe Paint. Literally changed my life :)
