A first experiment with Krita - very different from Photoshop or Gimp but I like it a lot. Came out quite dark when I saved it as a jpeg so hopefully this is better (.png format).

Thanks for sharing! I guess facebook does some manipulation to the images. I know facebook strips all metadata, but not what else they do.

Thanks for the input boudewijn. I think that Krita is great and hopefully I'll be able to produce some better quality artwork than this first attempt. I've been using Photoshop Elements but I'd love to get away from Windows. Weird! On my desktop screen, it's much brighter -- but that one is color managed with oyranos.
