Odysseus' krita sketchbook

Fri Jul 12, 2013 10:11 pm
Hello,
this is my sketchbook.
I am beginning to integrate Krita in my workflow, and right now I a using it for warm up speed paintings and sketching. These days I found enough time to complete an illustration in Krita. One thing I really enjoy in the features is the highly sophisticated brush creator, plus the ability to fine tune a brush on the fly and very quickly.

Some warm up sessions, mostly painted with one 'wet' brush.

The sci fi girl started as a quick scribble. So I had no plan of what this scene would be, instead it was spontaneous evolution by experimenting with forms and eventually trying to give some storytelling sense in to it.

Thanks for sharing! I really had to laugh at the sci-fy girl :-)
