Art studies

Tue Sep 24, 2013 3:55 pm
Hello all. I've lurked here off and on for awhile, but never posted.

Here are some studies I've been doing with Krita over at Concept Cookie. The "before" robot down there is done in MyPaint, but everything else is 100% Krita.

Nice to see you again at a... less dramatic place :)

So, you going through your basics again?

If left to my own devices I hardly ever do studies, even though I know I should. For some reason Concept Cookie tends to motivate me into doing them, so I participate. Even a soft deadline tends to make me procrastinate less I suppose.

It's probably because watching someone else draw makes your fingers itch ;)

At the least, watching timelapses is the easiest way for me to start drawing.

Art studies can bring great knowledge to us about our history and the present. Art gives us various mediums to convey our messages to the normal people. All the art forms have its own uniqueness. An artist has an enjoyable tension free life.
