Hi Krita users,
I just found out that Krita exists and I made this small illustration today. It is a little boy (still in me (I am 65 years)) holding a krita in his hand. The Word "krita" means a "chalk" or a "crayon" in my language which is Swedish. So, I will start exploring Krita. And so far I like it very much. I am a Corel Painter user for nearly 20 years, ArtRage user for 10 years and Manga Studio user for 5 years. I just bought a Photoshop CC license but since I have a degree in Photoshop I have been using it since I started using a computerIn my job, I never had to pay for it. My very first graphic software was Deluxe Paint on the Amiga, 1987 that was. Yes I am an oldie, just retired. For the first time in my life I will do just exactly what I always wanted to do at full time: paint and draw and animate. Until I die I will do that...and I guess the Krita experience will prolonge my life. That my impression... see you!

Welcome on board!

It is extremely amazing (and rewarding for the Krita developers) that you are trying Krita even though you are already so skilled with other softwares (e.g. Photoshop CC).

Btw, as for me, lately I have bought a Microsoft Office 2013 licence myself (they are quite cheap compared to the past) BUT in the end I always use LibreOffice 4.1 instead...

Wow, man this what i call a presentation on a forum, original, and tender, but happy and empowered by determination. Welcome to the forum. always repect between deluxe paint users . I know you are going to be as a crazy as this kid testing all the krita features

I am still in love with computer art and I still have my copy of DeluxePaint and other Amiga stuff, just like you never get rid of your old teddybear. Krita is getting more and more of my attention. I just have to finish a heavy job wit Painter befor I dig deeper into it... Thank you for leaving me a comment. I like that.
